It's Been Awhile...

Just a couple news updates :-)

I (Lorin) am finally in the public school system!  I'm excited to announce I got a job as a 6th grade Math teacher!  :-) SO far so good, I started September 3.  I feel like I'm still REALLY behind on everything BUT it can only get better!!

Another quick note,

We are walking for a Hemophilia Awareness/Donation Fundraiser on October 11th in Morrisville, NC (Near Raleigh) 

If you don't already know Liam was diagnosed with Moderate Hemophilia Type A at 3 days old.  IT was a scary diagnosis, but we know life is still a blessing and his is nothing compared to what others battle.

We would appreciate and welcome any help and support to help further the research to help those effect with Hemophilia and maybe one day find a cure!

Baby #2

If you haven't heard we are having another baby!!

Madi is going to be a Big Sister!!

We find out on Friday if the baby is a boy or girl :-D

Fixed Issues, FINALLY!

Oh my goodness!!

I finally have gotten the problem fixed, thanks to Mrs. Angie!


Quick update on me :-D  I did get a job working for Grandy Primary in Camden County!  It's only about 15-20 minutes away!
I am working with two little boys in Kindergarten as a Special Ed. Teacher Assistant!   I really am loving it :-D  I hope to keep it next year or maybe move up to a teaching position!  Keep your fingers crossed!

March 1st my grandfather passed away.

He will always be missed but we know he's at peace in a wonderful place and we will meet again.

Happy New Year!

So 2012 is off to a good start!  We are so happy to have each other to start this wonderful new year!  I don't know how it could live up to 2011 due to the fact that's the year this wonderful baby girl entered our lives.  But somehow I think watching Madi grow up will be just as exciting!

On the 22nd we did our Christmas on Knotts Island <3 

This year was not to eventful but next year -- it will be nuts in that household with two up and coming toddlers :-P

New Sister In Law!!

We are super excited to welcome a new couple of family members!  Jason and Yvonne are engaged!!

So we get a new sister in law/aunt and her son, Xavier, as a cousin/nephew!  Woo-Hoo!

Pumpkin Carving 101

 So I carved my first pumpkin :-) and Billy taught me the process!!

Step One

Gather Materials

and of course include Madi! 

Step Two

Cut top out

Step Three

Pull out icky ewwy innerards!

& Pose them with Madi!

All Clean :-)

Apply Stencil

CARVE!!!

& Of course Include Madi, whom at this point was passed out :-P

  

It was lots of fun, I do believe there will be a repeat next year when Miss Madi can get down and dirty with us :-P  I do believe Step Seven will be more fun! haha
